Well we now have all our documents ready for the cruise + and this week will be frantic.
It's all happening!!! We have only 3 days to go and Enid, our friend is arriving from Cairns to join us on this epic cruise.
I see in the documents that we have 13 formal nights, 9 semi-formal evenings and 19 casual nights. That makes it go quickly eh?
We depart from the bloody grain terminal at Fisherman Island. Brisbane is still in its infancy.So--- we've put the task of getting us there in the hands of Byron.
It has been a round of gatherings to say a farewell on this extended trip. Last sunday we began with brekkie at Club Pacific to mark Jack's 14th birthday. Nana Beryl shouted the family( Steve paid for the juices and the coffee)Jessica was full of her forthcoming Canberra Excursion with Belmont S.S.
After brekkie we drove to Maleny as Jo and June were bunging on a BBQ. It was great also to catch up with Lisa and Clive. The children Lillie and Louisa arrived later. A pleasant afternoon was had by all. It did rain a bit but no-one seemed to care. Lisa and I did take a drive to Witta to put the rug on the horse.
Saturday just passed, found us out at Carindale as Natalie and Steven suggested we come over for a lunch BBQ. John and I enjoyed the time with them and we swapped Xmas pressies. Sunday was spent at yet another BBQ out at Samford. Not only were we going away but Alisha John's grandaughter is off to Big White in Canada for the season and longer if all works out well.
On Wednesday evening we are invited to Pat's for dinner. Pat and I have been friends for 55 years and she knows that our food will be running out by then
